The RateSetter web site is now back up, and the data feed to P2P Money is now working again.

The RateSetter website is currently down and the P2P Money website will currently report an error processing data from RateSetter.  Hopefully the RateSetter website should be restored soon.

Welcome to the new blog from P2P Money, where we will share information on peer to peer money lending and borrowing, and other topics of interest.

Quakle announces that it is to cease trading.

"After considering the peer-to-peer lending market and under the current circumstances of the business, the board took the decision not to resume activities on the Quakle website. Payments will continue to be monitored and chased for when the borrower is not paying and lenders will receive their credit once a month. The website will be closed at some point in the future although the contact email address will be active until such a time it will not be needed anymore. We understand that this announcement is not satisfying enough for our estimated members but it will serve as a notice and will be followed by a further announcement - not before two weeks - that will explain in more details how we intend to proceed and what will happen."
