This week Zopa celebrates its 7th birthday.  Many happy returns !

Peer-to-peer lending has come a long way since the early days in 2005.  "Welcome to Zopa The first lending and borrowing exchange" was the intro on Zopa's original web site, with the lime green, orange and cyan color scheme on a gray background.  The company has accelerated its year-on-year growth and has now lent out over £185million, with around a 2% market share of the entire personal loan market.
